Chapter 21

Dilemma

Cole had to make a decision…

He couldn’t keep the media houses at bay forever, they got more vicious with each passing day.

“Where is Diego Book?”

“Is the company experiencing an internal crisis?”

“Statistics show that Heiscephas apparels experienced a sudden drop in sales, Do you think it is as a result of the absence of Diego Book?”

He could run away from all this and stay at a condo he earlier bought at Marseille, but he wasn’t good at running away and Marseille was too far from the capital.

To make matters worse…

He had a press conference in five minutes and he didn’t a prophet to tell him it would revolve around one thing.

The economic world was a sea full of different companies with diverse approaches towards competitors, but if you get injured, the sharks will find you.

“Sir, The press conference is in two minutes” The red haired secretary reminded him.

“I’ll be there” Cole answered her.

In a short while Cole was standing before the representatives of several major media houses with their constant flashing lights that irritated his eyes and consecutive idiotic questions that tested his self control, But he would not give them what they wanted, only what they deserved.

“You said Diego Book left on a business trip?” A sly looking reporter asked.

“That is correct” Cole answered.

“And you also said your brothers, Dave and Philip met up with him later?”

“Yes I did” Cole replied, not sure of where the conversation was heading to.

“Do you mind telling us the location, Sir?”

“No, That information is classified”

“Not anymore Mr Cole, There were various sightings of Diego Book in Sao Paulo, Brazil reported by certain individuals two days ago, what do you have to say about this?”

The information caught Cole by surprise, but he concealed it immediately.

“Rumours” Cole replied “ They’re all rumours by individuals who want to use my brother’s name for clout”

“Does that mean…”

“That’ll be all for today” Cole cut the reporter short “further information will be communicated to you when necessary”

Cole walked away from the hall leaving the representatives bewildered, but he could take care of that later, right now he had found the location of his brother’s wherabout and he intended to find out the reason for his abrupt move.

Before the press conference, he believed he was in a dilemma, but the annoying reporter turned out to be his messiah.

And his presumptuous dilemma was a light at the end of the tunnel.
